Are you an arts professional, with in-depth knowledge of the UK poetry scene? Would you like to contribute expertise and oversight to the development of an independent publishing house? We’re currently selecting members for Bad Betty’s advisory board, and would love to hear from you.
We’re excited to have confirmed two board members, and are now particularly keen to hear from people with expertise in any of the following areas: finance, operations, business strategy, data, diversity & inclusion and social media marketing.
This is a voluntary role, for which we ask attendance at two biannual board meetings. Our directors will update the board twice annually on Bad Betty’s short and long-term plans, and invite members to share insight and feedback. We may also reach out to members individually for occasional input, with time given at this level to be optional and at each members’ discretion. As a member of our board, you’ll be entitled to a lifetime’s subscription to all Bad Betty Press publications (including forthcoming titles and our backlist), and tickets to any and all Bad Betty Live events across the country.
